PARK RULES & REGULATIONS
La Travesia Park Guidelines: Honoring Your Loved Ones with Care & Respect
To maintain the dignity, safety, and beauty of La Travesia Park, visitors must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Memorial Items & Floral Arrangements
- Certain items that may pose safety hazards—such as candle holders, vases, toys, metal designs, chairs, glass containers, and similar ornaments—are not permitted. If placed, management reserves the right to remove them.
- Potted plants and special floral arrangements are allowed during Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day, and other occasions but must be retrieved within seven (7) days.
- Flowers in memorial vase assemblies are welcome and will remain as long as they are fresh and in season. Dried flowers may be disposed of at the discretion of the Park Administrator.
- Elevated flower arrangements are generally not permitted, except on special occasions. The height of flowers, including their containers, must not exceed 12 inches above the ground.
2. Candle & Fire Safety
- To prevent grass fires, lighted candles left behind are strictly prohibited.
- All candle holders, LED lights, and memorial accessories must be taken home—staff and guards cannot store items on behalf of visitors.
3. Memorial Markers & Structures
- To maintain uniformity, elevated markers, LED lights, candles with metal ornaments, and additional memorial structures are not allowed.
- Only in-house produced markers are permitted, provided they adhere to CCDC’s prescribed format.
4. Collection of Prohibited Items
- Schedule: Every Friday
- Families will be notified via text or email when items are collected, with details on:
- The retrieval period (how long items will be kept).
- The collection location (where items can be retrieved).
5. Tent Installation
- Families may bring and install their own tents but must first notify management and complete a Tent Waiver Form.
- Tents may be installed from 6:00 AM and must be removed by 9:00 PM.
- For safety reasons, tents must be uninstalled before families leave the park.
6. Parking Rules
- Overnight parking is strictly prohibited—visitor parking is available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Parking on bricks is NOT Allowed.
7. Environmental Responsibility
- Visitors are encouraged to bring their own garbage bags to help maintain a clean and eco-friendly space.
- All trash must be placed in designated containers.
8. Use of Facilities
- Gazebos and nipa huts are open for use, with visitors expected to maintain cleanliness.
- For use of function hall, please coordinate with park officers.
9. Safety & Conduct
- Children must be supervised at all times, especially near lagoon areas.
- Firearms, drugs, alcohol, smoking, and practice driving are strictly prohibited.
- Solicitation of tips is against company policy—report violations to park officers.
- Report any misconduct or discourtesy from staff, janitorial, or security personnel to park officers.
10. Pet Guidelines
- Pets must be leashed at all times.
- Owners are required to clean up after their pets.
11. Park Operating Hours
La Travesia Park is open for visitation of the grounds and columbarium from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 365 days a year.
